Tuition and Fees

How much does it cost to attend KCC?

Tuition and fees make up the largest part of your school costs, but these are not the only expenses you will have while going to school. You will have to pay for books and supplies for your classes and transportation to and from school. Don't forget that your housing, food, and personal expenses are all part of the costs of attending college.

Understanding Your Cost of Attendance (COA)

The cost of attendance is the total estimated cost for attending Kingsborough Community College as estimated by the City University of New York (CUNY). Detailed cost of attendance information is available on the Undergraduate Financial Aid webpage. Costs that you are expected to incur while pursuing your education include:

  • Tuition and Fees
  • Books, course materials, supplies, and equipment: Book and supply costs vary greatly by program and between full-time and part-time enrollment so it is estimated for your COA.
  • Transportation (MetroCard): Transportation costs vary so it is estimated for your COA by CUNY
  • Lunch
  • Food and Housing: Estimate determined by CUNY,  to be incurred by the student attending the institution on at least a half-time basis.
  • Personal expenses: Estimate determined by CUNY, for a student attending on at least a half-time basis.

Tuition and Fees is the only part of the cost of attendance that you pay directly to the college. The other costs are covered from a combination of financial aid and your financial resources.

You can find the current school charges posted on the Tuition and Fees page of this site.
