HONORS

The Education Program is always eager to provide opportunities in which students can showcase their highest potential. Interested students can speak with their professors, who will be able to direct them on how to enter the Honors Program. The program challenges students with rigorous coursework in order to foster critical literacy. In addition to the increased depth in education, students will be rewarded with acknowledgement of their efforts on their transcript. Students seeking to transfer to competitive four-year universities are highly recommended to apply. An honors curriculum can be a challenging but very rewarding experience!

Students can earn honors credits by completing honors projects in any of their education courses. Students will receive honors credit upon completing the project and passing the course. Students who complete projects and receive passing grades in four education courses earn the Education Honors Strand designation on their transcripts.
