Enhance your College Experience with Navigate

The Navigate Student app allows you to stay connected to your advisor and faculty members. You can use the app to schedule an advising appointment, connect with campus resources, view class schedules or hand raise to request help regarding career support, financial aid and tutoring.


Download Navigate Student app in the App Store or Google Play

Once installed, search for "Kingsborough Community College" and  login with your CUNY Login.

Scheduling an Advising Appointment


  1. Sign into Navigate  , or use the  Navigate Student app , using your CUNY login
  2. Go to "Schedule an Appointment." On the app, tap "Appointments" and then "Schedule an Appointment." In the web browser version, click "Schedule an Appointment."
  3. Select your appointment type, then choose from the available days and times to schedule your appointment.

Kingsborough Community College is joining all  CUNY colleges in utilizing Navigate360. This switch offers many benefits to students including:

  • A single student success tool that is familiar regardless of the college you attend.

  • An easy to use app and website that makes it easy to connect with your advisers and faculty.

  • Navigate360 uses your CUNY Login credentials, that's one less password to remember!

Navigate360 will allow you to easily connect to advisers, staff, and faculty. Through a user-friendly app, you will be able to schedule appointments and request assistance. You will be able to easily view your class schedule, and you will also be able to see many of the resources available to you.

  1. Go to the App Store or Google Play Store

  2. Download and install the app

  3. Open the app and search for your College name as your school or institution

  4. Log in using your CUNYfirst Login credentials

  5. Answer a short survey to personalize the app

  6. Allow push notifications for upcoming reminders

Yes! Let your Success Team know that you are looking for more information or need additional assistance by “raising your hand”. This can be accessed either by clicking the “+” sign on the top right of your screen or by clicking the Hand Raise icon on your home page.

  5. Select a reason for the cancellation form the drop down menu

Note: Navigate takes up to 24 hours to reflect any changes if your Hold has been resolved.

NOTIFICATIONS

Notifications are messages sent to notify you about important upcoming To-Dos, Events, or Personal Reminders configured in Navigate Student.

Notifications can be push notifications to a mobile device, a text message to a mobile device, or an email message. The type of notification sent is dependent on which methods you choose to receive and which ones the institution has enabled.

SETTINGS

Students must opt in to receiving notifications from Navigate Student to receive the notifications. Students can set their preferences by selecting Settings > Notification Settings.

You can select which types of notifications you wish to receive. You may choose more than one way to receive a notification. For example, you may choose to have both a text message and email sent.

IMPORTANT:
  • Email notifications are sent from noreply@navigate.eab.com

  • All text messages come from a toll free number, 855-480-0746. You cannot respond to text messages generated from Navigate Student.

Study Buddies helps identify classmates who are interested in group study and access their contact information directly in the app.

  • You can opt-in to Study Buddies for the courses you would like help in.

  • Once other students have opted into Study Buddies, select the names of the students you want to contact.

Your CUNYfirst Student Center is the most up-to-date place to confirm your class schedule. Classes in Navigate360 update every 24 hours. If you just added or dropped a class, it may take one day to update.

If you added your class schedule to your calendar app on your phone, you will need to manually update the calendar to reflect your recent change. Log into your Navigate360 app and manually add the class to your calendar (one by one or all again).

Try a hard close and relaunch the app.

  • For iOS, double click the Home button then swipe the app preview away to hard close.

  • On Android, open the app manager view and slide the app preview away to hard close.
