Apply for Graduation

March 5 – May 16 is the filing period for the June 2025 degree.

To apply for your June degree, go to Academics under your Student Center and click on “Apply for Graduation.”

Students must apply for graduation by April 11 in order to be eligible for an award, as well as the application process for Valedictorian and Salutatorian.

Order Caps & Gowns

March 17 - May 1
 
Order your cap & gown by the deadline to ensure you receive the correct size.  There is no charge for your cap and gown only, however, there is a charge for graduation packages and additional items.    
 
Your EMPLID# will be required to place your order.  Order Here:  herff.ly/kcc
 
Cap & Gowns will be available for pick-up at the Grad Fair on June 3rd. 

100 Days To Graduation

March 10

You’re just 100 days away from crossing the stage at Commencement!  Join us to get your questions answered about graduation, take your graduation photo, inquire about transferring to a four-year college, sign up for the KCC Alumni Association and receive a KCC T-shirt!

The portrait sitting is free.  Thornton Studios will provide price information should you decide to order your portrait photos.  Appointments are not required and cap & gowns will be available for graduation photos.

Yearbook distribution will occur in Fall 2025.  Students will receive an email with details to obtain their Yearbook.

Graduation Ball

6 p.m. – 10 p.m.   
MAC Lighthouse

Join us for a night of glitz  and  glam, filled with great food, music, dancing and fun.  Formal attire required (NO JEANS or SNEAKERS).  Dress to impress in black, white and gold colors!

Tickets available in C-123 on May 1.  KCC Students $10 and Guests $25 (CASH ONLY).

Grad Fair

June 3rd
10 a.m.  - 2 p.m.

Graduates pick up your cap and gown and Commencement tickets (4 tickets max per student). Stay and decorate your cap afterwards! 

Meet with potential employers, take your graduation photo, get your last-minute graduation and transfer questions answered, and sign up for the KCC Alumni Association.
