Message to the Campus

Safe Return to Campus
Tuesday, April 30, 2024
Dear Students,
Welcome back. I hope this message finds you well and that you had a rejuvenating spring break or Passover observance.
You are returning to campus at a time of significant activity and even upheaval on many campuses related to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. During this challenging time, the safety and well-being of each member of our community remain our top priority.
As always, we will require that you show ID at the front gate each time you come to campus, so I suggest arriving at KCC a bit earlier than usual, in case there is a delay in walking onto campus. ID checks are a simple but critical practice to help ensure that the college is a place where each of you feels safe, welcome, and free to pursue your studies.
As you get back into your academic routine, your advisors are available to help you if you need support or guidance. If you need counseling services, they are available for students on campus in room D-102. The office can be reached by phone at 718.368.5975, and you can find additional information at https://www.kbcc.cuny.edu/sws/.
Let's make the most of the rest of the spring term by staying focused, motivated, and productive. I look forward to seeing you on campus and seeing what you'll accomplish in the coming weeks. Together, let's finish the semester #KCCStrong.
Sincerely,
Dr. Suri Duitch
Interim President
