Kingsborough Open Pedagogy Fellowship

Since 2018, Kingsborough has sponsored an Open Pedagogy Fellowship for faculty interested in deepening and expanding their use of open educational practices.  The initial fellowship was modelled on the UN SDG Open Pedagogy Fellowship at Montgomery Community College in Maryland and themed around the UN Sustainable Development Goals; you can see the work and assignments created by the KCC UN SDG OPFs here.  Based on faculty feedback, The Kingsborough Open Pedagogy Fellowship was opened up thematically, but the core of learning with and from our colleagues about how to support our students not just as knowledge consumers but as knowledge creators remains to this day.
