Faculty Interest Groups

Teaching with Technology

 Loretta Brancaccio-Taras (Biological Sciences)

This group is for faculty who are interested in exploring the role of technology in the classroom - including offering fully online, hybrid or online supported courses. Through KCeL, Loretta Brancaccio-Taras (Biological Sciences) will facilitate discussions that share experiences, challenges, and best practices. For more information or to join this group, please contact Loretta at loretta.taras@kbcc.cuny.edu and feel free to browse our site on the CUNY Academic Commons.

Faculty who are interested in training and support for the use of technology for pedagogical and professional purposes are encouraged to contact the Kingsborough Center for eLearning (KCeL). At KCeL, support is available for faculty to, among other things, develop projects and build expertise in the use of course tools (such as Blackboard, eReserve, and Turnitin), teleconferencing, creating Podcasts, and developing posters and presentations.

Please contact KCeL ext. 6622 or kcel@kbcc.cuny.edu to make an appointment to work in small groups or one-on-one with the KCeL staff -- at your convenience and when the need to expand your skills arises. KCeL
