WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE JUNE COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES?

WILL MY NAME APPEAR IN THE COMMENCEMENT PROGRAM?
For your name to appear in the Commencement Program you must have filed an application for a degree in CUNYfirst.  You will be notified by email if deficiencies are found in any course work completed prior to the Spring semester.  Please note that filing the necessary paperwork or taking part in the Commencement Exercises does not guarantee the awarding of a degree.

WHO RECEIVES AN INVITATION TO THE COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES?
If you filed an application for degree, an invitation to the Commencement Exercises will be sent to your home address. Please ensure that your address on file in CUNYfirst is up to date. Due to the size of the graduating class and the CUNY COVID protocols, graduates may invite no more than two guests, and all guests will be required to show proof of vaccination (CDC Vaccination Card (a digital photo or photocopy of this card is also acceptable); NYC Vaccination Record; NYC COVID Safe App; CLEAR Health Pass; Excelsior Pass or Excelsior Pass Plus) or negative PCR test.  If unvaccinated, guests must provide proof of a negative PCR test performed no more than 7 days prior to the visit, unless the individual is a member of the CUNY community and has previously been granted a medical or religious exemption.
