Description
This training program will prepare students for the New York State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) examination. A certified NYS EMT can work or volunteer anywhere in New York State. Students will learn basic life-saving techniques, including scene safety, patient assessment, fracture management, bleeding control, patient movement, and oxygen administration. EMTs primarily perform emergency and transport ambulance work in the private, municipal, and hospital ambulance sectors.
