In partnership with 60+ higher education institutions and mission-aligned nonprofits, we provide career training and access to paid internships at Blackstone, its portfolio companies, and high-growth startups.


Fox Corporation Spring Internship

The FOX Internship Program offers an exciting opportunity for participants to gain practical experience while interning for one of the biggest media and entertainment companies in the world. Interns will participate in real-world projects, which provide valuable work experience and leadership skills. The FOX Internship Program is for motivated college students who are passionate about the news industry. College Associates are paid to gain real-world work experience with guidance from the top news professionals. College Associates are assigned to a department that matches their skill set, work experience, and career aspirations.
Pay Rate: $20-$30/hr.

IBM – Summer 2026 Internships

IBM’s Summer Internship Program provides students with hands-on experience at the intersection of innovation and impact. As an intern, you’ll work with leading experts, gain exposure to real client projects, and receive mentorship to build both technical and business skills, all while exploring a career in tech-related fields. Open to current college students interested in business, technology, and sales. Internship tracks include Data Science, Platform Engineering, Technical Solutions, Software Development, Hardware Development, Product Management, Business Technology, HR, Consulting, Design & UX, Research, and more.

Caucus CUNY Scholars Internship Program

The City University of New York is proud to offer an exciting spring semester internship opportunity for a select number of CUNY students. The Edward T. Rogowsky Internship Program in Government & Public Affairs Program will coordinate the program alongside a Campus Faculty Coordinator at each of the City University’s colleges. The New York State Black, Puerto Rican, Hispanic & Asian Legislative Caucus City University of New York Scholars Program will provide highly qualified individuals the opportunity to learn by doing via the New York City district offices of state legislators that comprise the membership on the Caucus.
Pay Rate: $3,000 Stipend

New York Amsterdam News Winter/Spring Internship

Intern positions are available in our editorial and digital departments. Amsterdam News interns must be located in New York City and have a passion for writing about the Black community. Interns are required to participate in weekly video conference meetings with staff, editors, and the internship coordinator. Interns are provided with significant opportunities to boost their professional profiles, plus ongoing references as they seek opportunities in the media or other fields.

Salem Media Spring Internship

Want to break into the ever-changing world of radio and digital media? There’s no better place to start than by interning with the morning show with Joe Piscopo on AM 970 The Answer. Whether your dream career is hosting a morning show on the radio, anchoring a newscast, producing a talk show, or becoming a marketing expert, there are plenty of internship opportunities at AM 970 The Answer and Salem NY to immerse you in digital and on-air media. As a production intern, you will learn what it takes to create a live show by working closely with our programming and on-air staff.
Pay Rate: $16/hr.

Senator Kristen Gillibrand Spring Internship

Each academic semester, U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand’s New York City office hosts a team of highly motivated, dedicated, and civic-minded student interns. The program is designed to cultivate and mentor young leaders, developing them for future public service opportunities. By working directly with the senator’s staff, students gain a unique perspective on observing and engaging with government work. Interns are placed in functional departments in the senator’s New York City office, including Constituent Affairs, Community Outreach, and Operations. Legal interns correspond with federal agencies to advocate for constituents through casework.

LifeSci NYC

Led by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and its Life Sciences and Healthcare team, the City’s investment in life sciences will create, produce, and deliver dozens of new cures and treatments, generating thousands of new jobs for New Yorkers—making our city healthier and fairer. The program seeks to provide experience and training for students and recent graduates interested in pursuing careers in the life sciences industry, providing opportunities to work in a wide range of companies, from early-stage startups to large pharmaceutical and biotech firms.
Pay Rate: $16/hr.

The Borgen Project Internship

The Borgen Project have several internship and volunteer openings that may be of interest to you, these range from HR, PR/Marketing to writing and journalism. All internship and volunteer programs provide experience in advocacy, mobilizing and fundraising, coupled with real industry exposure and an insight into the nonprofit world. Borgen Project remote internships are work from home roles, weekly deadlines must be met, meetings will be held online and a weekly update of your progress submitted.
