Biography

Prof. Weinstein's research and scholarship centers around the intersections of technology and Modern Spiritualism in postbellum America. She is currently working on a manuscript tentatively entitled "American Superwomen," in which she analyzes contemporary cults of femininity and strategies for containment of women's power and sexuality.
