Biography

Christine M. Rudisel, Associate Professor of English, has been a member of the full-time faculty at Kingsborough since 2004. She also serves as the English department’s liaison to Access-Ability Services (2004-present) and has served as a co-director of the Developmental English Program (2011-2020) and as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Kingsborough Center for Teaching and Learning (2011-2024). Before joining the faculty at Kingsborough, Prof. Rudisel taught composition, oral expression, English comprehension, and American civilization at the Université de Nancy II in Nancy, France.

Prof. Rudisel’s interest in developing novel pedagogies to advance student learning is demonstrated by the workshops she has facilitated and the articles she has written about working with atypical learners.
