Student Support
The Counseling Resource Center, coordinated by Maria Bartolomeo-Maida, within the
Department of Student Services collaborates with KCTL to host a series of workshops
throughout the semester on topics related to counseling issues and classroom management.
The goal of these workshops will be to discuss aspects of interactions in the learning
environment including individual problem students and behavioral issues. Facilitated
by trained counselors from the D-102 office, faculty and staff will discuss approaches
to address challenging issues and brainstorm classroom management techniques that
may prove effective. Participants are encouraged to bring in situations from their
own teaching experience as a means of bringing relevance and richness to the discussion.
