KCTL Reading Group

The number of technology choices available to instructors is exciting, but but sometimes the bells and whistles can actually impede student learning. In Intentional Tech: Principles to Guide the Use of Educational Technology in College Teaching  (2019), Derek Bruff shares stories of instructors who have successfully and creatively incorporated technology into their classrooms by first defining their academic goals and then selecting tools that facilitate the achievement of those goals.  Please join the KCTL Reading Group and facilitator Amy Haas (Business) to explore how to ensure that pedagogy drives technology choices and not the other way around.
