Kingsborough Community College is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. The graduate receives an Associate in Applied Science Degree and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
The Surgical Technology Program was reaccredited from the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP): 1361 Park Street, Clearwater, Florida 33756; Phone: 727-210-2350; www.caahep.org, in 2012 for a 10-year period. Graduates are eligible to take the certification examination offered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
The Kingsborough Community College Paramedic Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Education Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Profession (CoAEMSP). Graduates of the Kingsborough Community College Paramedic Program are eligible to take the paramedic examination at the New York State, New York City, and national level.
