An Affordable First-Class Education
KCC FLEX is a program of Kingsborough Community College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY). Kingsborough has earned recognition as a Leader College of Distinction by Achieving the Dream and is ranked as a Top 10 Community College in the nation by the Aspen Institute. KCC FLEX offers students a high-quality college education, along with holistic support and services. Students are provided alternative and accelerated scheduling, expedited application and admissions processes, and dedicated enrollment and academic coaches.
Alternative and Accelerated Scheduling Options
Many students juggle school, family and work. The KCC FLEX team works one-on-one with you to help develop customized, manageable schedules based on your goals, needs and study preferences including online, day, evening or weekend classes, or any combination. KCC FLEX supports accelerated degree completion models, so that you can complete your associate degree fast.
Expedited Application and Admissions Processes
With KCC FLEX, we’ll move your application and enrollment forward fast. We’ve piloted a series of expedited, online systems so you can apply and be enrolled in no time.
Dedicated Enrolment and Academic Coaches
Because education is a significant investment for prospective students, KCC FLEX enrollment coaches work with students to map out a clear educational pathway, estimate transfer credits, and connect them with financial aid. Once students are enrolled in KCC FLEX, academic success coaches, including a full-time math coach, continue to work closely with students to ensure their success.
More Benefits with KCC FLEX
Planned expansions of KCC FLEX include offering an Associate of Arts Degree in Community Health for the Spring 2020 semester, subsidized childcare for evening and weekend college students, non-credential to credential pipelines in partnership with Kingsborough’s Continuing Education program, and FLEX-Four Pathways, opportunities for KCC FLEX students to transfer to CUNY Senior Colleges and earn a bachelor’s degree through the FLEX model.
